MULE DEER - Trophy hunts take place on the limited entry/premium limited entry units in most of southern Utah. These trophy units offer a very good chance to harvest a 175"+ buck. Non-trophy hunts take place on the General Utah hunting units in the Southern and Southeastern units. These permits are easier to draw and offer a chance at a 150"+ buck. Hunt Dates: August-November.

BULL ELK - We guide trophy hunts on the Panguitch Lake, Beaver Mountain, Southwest Desert, Mt. Dutton, Monroe, and Paunsaugunt units. These are most of the best bull elk hunting units in the state of Utah. These units all offer a great chance for a 350"+ bull elk with some units/hunts offering a legitimate chance at a 375"+ bull. Our non-trophy hunts take place on any general season unit upon request. These units offer chances to harvest 300"+ bulls. Hunt Dates: August-December.

MOUNTAIN LION - Mountain lion hunts are one of the most exciting hunts available in the western US. Enjoy a completely different type of hunt as you let a pack of some of the best hounds available track and tree your trophy mountain lion. Utah offers great mountain lion hunting throughout the winter and spring months of the year. Tom (male) mountain lions harvested can range anywhere from 150-200 lbs! Hunt Dates: November-April.

ANTELOPE - Antelope hunts are only offered on limited entry units in Utah. Clients can expect a more relaxed hunt with some possible long range shooting! Utah limited entry units will produce 70"+ bucks. Hunt Dates: August-September.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN GOAT - This is one of the most treasured hunts Utah has to offer. Clients will spend 10 tens on the most physical hunt High Mountain Outfitters has to offer. We specialize in the Beaver unit hunt which offers one of the best chances in the state to harvest a record book goat! Hunt Dates: September-October.

BLACK BEAR - Similar to mountain lion hunts, clients will enjoy watching  a pack of some of the best hounds available track, trail and tree some record book black bears in one of the best black bear states in the West. Utah black bears can range anywhere from 300-500 lbs in size. Hunt Dates: April-May; August-Septmeber; November.

TURKEY - Just added to the menu of High Mountain Outfitters, turkey hunts are guaranteed fun with a private ranch hunt for a Big Tom! Guaranteed tags are available over-the-counter along with limited entry permits. Clients will enjoy an easy hunting with a laid-back atmosphere. Hunt Dates: April-May.

COYOTE - Join us for an excitement like no other hunt! Coyote hunts are a quick action, high-intensity hunt. Clients spend the day moving to different calling areas with an electronic call bringing coyotes within shooting distance. Coyotes are one of the most intelligent species in North America. The best part is that no tag OR license are required to hunt coyotes. We perform our coyote hunts during the fall and winter months for the best success.
